DAVID HOOVER is a gay man and a licensed clinical social worker in Northern Virginia. He has led workshops across the United States on a number of topics including gay men's meditation, HIV prevention and spiritual growth.

He is a trained spiritual director with a deep interest in empowering gay men to claim their unique spiritual selves. He has a private therapy practice in Alexandria, Virginia

David has a Master of Divinity Degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is currently a Clinical Manager in the Inova Health System, Merrifield, VA. He is an Episcopalian with a deep interest in meditation and gay men's spirituality.

GaySpirits has plans to become a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
